Gas swimming and spa pool heaters typically run on natural gas or LPG. We supply and install the appropriate heater for your requirements, completing all relevant connections. We have our own registered plumbers, gasfitters and electricians that can get the job completed and provide all required certification.

About us

Pool Gas and Plumbing Ltd are a team of two specialising in Swimming and Spa pool gas heating. Owner Shane is a certifying gasfitter ably assisted by Kel who is a registered gasfitter. Combining their depth of knowledge and experience this dedicated team provide their services to domestic, commercial and schools throughout the greater Auckland area.

They pride themselves in excellent customer service, their main priority. They listen to what the customer needs and determine the best value and practice for their individual needs. Pool Gas are partnered with all well established and reputable product providers.

No matter the size of your swimming pool or spa, Pool Gas are able to tailor a heating solution for you including supplying, installing and servicing gas swimming and spa pool heaters.

Certified Master Gasfitters

Shane started his career in the gasfitting industry in 1978 and established Poolgas in 1998 after previously being in the pool industry for five years. Still very much hands on in the business, he also loves nothing better than doing maintenance work on the farm which he runs with partner Diana (also Office Manager for Pool Gas) and getting out for a fish nearby for a bit of relaxation and food (usually, but not always!)

Kel has been in the pool industry since 2010 as a valet and service technician before joining Pool Gas in (2016) and attaining his registered gasfitting qualification. Kel’s spare time is spent playing golf and motor racing (occasionally competing against his wife!)
